Willhem is looking for a caretaker in Trollhättan

Willhem Trollhättan is growing, and we are now expanding our organization with a caretaker. Are you handy and genuinely interested in helping people? Do you also enjoy alternating between practical work and some administration? Then this could be the position for you! We are looking for a committed and solution-oriented caretaker for our area office in Trollhättan. The position is a permanent employment that starts with a 6-month probationary period.

You will be part of a small team with engaged colleagues and close to decision-making. In Trollhättan, Willhem owns and manages 28 properties, primarily in central locations. The portfolio consists of nearly 1000 rental apartments and a smaller portion of commercial premises with hairdressers, restaurants, and shops as tenants. As a caretaker with us, you are the one who keeps an eye on the property and ensures that our tenants receive excellent service. Your main tasks include troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving issues that arise in our customers' apartments.

Your responsibilities include:

- establishing and maintaining good relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues

- conducting rounds to prevent maintenance requests and ensure cleanliness

- planning and executing repairs and ongoing maintenance

- handling service requests, complaints, and claims, as well as providing feedback to tenants

- ordering and following up on property supplies and minor contracting work

- supervising ventilation, heating, and electrical systems in our properties

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience and interest in working with customer-oriented property tasks. We prefer that you have some education focused on technology and/or property management. You are a handy problem solver with good knowledge and experience in at least some of the areas: plumbing, apartment inspections, fire safety, rounds, construction, or electrical work. You should be comfortable working with computer systems, and a B driver's license is required.

As a person, you should enjoy taking responsibility, be independent, and have a strong service mindset. We are looking for someone who likes the challenge of finding solutions that benefit both the customer and us as a company, and you are welcome to bring ideas on how we can improve in your area. You are a team player who values collaboration and helping each other.
